Here is the picture from July 5th when we picked up Choco

Here is a magnification of that same photo. Note how tiny Choco is. He isn't as long as Kaden's finger. We were so worried we would break him or he would die.

Here he is 1.5 months later. He eats about 6 crickets every day. He would probably eat more if we would let him. He is growing incredibly fast. He has grown from about two inches long to about 10 inches long in a very short time.

Kaden is doing very well taking care of Choco. He sprays him down with water several times per day(that is how they drink) and cleans out the cricket keeper. He is also an expert at catching bugs(one of his favorite things). He actually caught a butterfly two days ago to feed him (which Daddy could not even accomplish after diligently trying to replicate his techniques). It is very exciting to watch Choco eat the bugs with his long tongue. After we put some bugs in there the Family will gather around the cage to watch the "Fireworks".

As soon as you approach the cage Choco has his eye or eyes on you.

That is SO cool! What great shots of an ever-growing little guy!
Kevin, you're figuring this blogging thing out. Good job honey!
I like this little choco. we may have to get a vanilla to match him.
I love your blog. We definitely need to get together. We can sit and talk about how much we miss Europe!
So cool! And I am seriously impressed... you guys blog almost every day!
It is always nice to see our kids be responsible! Way to go Kaden!
That is great!! I love the pictures and Choco sounds like a lot of fun...especially for Kaden!
Tell Kade that he is a very responsible little guy and that our Nick is jealous. He wants a lizard too but we are telling him he has to pay for it with his own money. He is waiting until after our trip before buying it because he says, "what if there is something I really want on our trip, but I spent it on the gecko? I'm going to wait."We are paying for the tank, heat lamp, and water dish. He is paying for the lizard, decorations, and food.
Ohh--my boys are so wanting a pet like that!1 They were all peering over my shoulder to enjoy the cool pictures! Wow!
Marnie, it is so good to hear from you, and to see what you and your cute family are up to on your blog! I can't believe how old Kaden is, and Lauren and Ava are both beautiful little girls. That's cool that you guys were in Europe for so long. What are you guys up to now?
Take care!
