I realize that this photo is a little blurry; so of course it was taken by me and not Kevin. However, I love this picture of Lauren because this particular memory and moment is now frozen not only in my mind for always, but also on film. She was so proud of herself for finally getting these shoes on after several foiled attempts. I was actuallly surprised at how well she could move around in them. I myself, admittedly have trouble on occasion while wearing this particular pair of platforms.

I laugh when our kids clomp around in our shoes too. What is that obsession about? I think it is symbolic.
