Since I have been tagged twice now, I finally carved a few mins. out of my day to post. When I read the rules, I was little nervous not knowing beforehand what picture I would be posting until I pulled up the file....
The Picture:
This is a picture that Kevin took of a Humvee in Kuwait during his one-year deployment to Iraq. He was in Kuwait for about 10 days before they got to their official posts in Iraq. He was stationed at Camp Liberty just outside of Baghdad from Dec. 2004-2005. Sometimes I look back on his time away from us and it seems like a bad dream...then I quickly remember how trying those days were, and I remember that it was very much a reality.
As difficult as that time was, it was a time of tremendous personal and spiritual growth for both of us. We really had some amazing blessings and experiences as a result. We have a good friend who is currently deployed and is ironically at the same post where Kevin was.
We are so proud of you Travis! You are in our thoughts and prayers every day. Hooahhh (it's an army thing...I know....I know I don't get it either).
