Kevin had to leave for a business trip so he didn't attend his normal early morning meeting. Before he caught his train he took an installment for our "Sunday morning photo tradition"
Nice to see some new pictures! Your kids are adorable! As always. I am trying hard to update mine to the point I can post about our trip. I'm weird, I like to try to do things in order, for the most part.
I just love this tradition. Question for you - I want to do it too, but by the time church is over with my kids are disheveled, dirty from nursery snacks, starving, and utterly exhausted and needing a nap (Eliza). (And I usually take Eliza out of her nice dress when I lay her down.) When do you take their picture?!! Ah well, I guess I could take it before church if I was ever that on-the-ball! :) Anyway, I love these pictures. Such a great tradition!
Erin, We do take the photos before we leave for church for the same reasons that you mentioned. However, we have become very sporatic in our "Sunday Photos" since Kevin leaves the house at the crack of dawn for his ward correlation meetings before sacrament meeting. Now that Ava is getting a little older and will stay put for longer that 2 mins. I think I might try to get all three of them together and start taking the photos myself. Kevin just does such a better job...
I love this tradition. How do you have all your kids looking so cute EARLY? We are running out the door just in time every week. Ok fine, just AFTER time every week. :) I would love to start this tradition if I could just make myself get ready EARLY.
The Parkers: All Because Two People Fell in Love..
Life is an adventure, especially when you are in the military. Our latest assignment has brought us back to Germany, a country that we learned to love six years ago when we were first stationed here. We are a travel lovin', dancin' in the kitchen, bike ridin', movie night watchin and pizza eatin', game playin', faith livin', but most of all, loving family!
Kaden
Kaden, age seven, is our resident insect expert. He is also very interested in Science and the world around him. Kaden is very bright, fun-loving, and tenacious. He has a special talent for being able to polish off an entire bowl of popcorn by himself!
Lauren
Lauren, age four, loves anything pink, having to do with princesses, dancing, or jumping. She is fearless and is usually the first one mom catches jumping off of the furniture. She has a special talent for kissing boo boos.
Ava
Ava, two years old, is our first blue-eyed baby! She loves her brother and sister and blowing raspberries in your face. She has a special talent for naming all of the Disney Princesses. She can also curl her tongue sideways.
