Quote of the Day--
A couple of days ago, Kevin and I had a wonderful teaching moment with Kaden. The topic of "mercy" came up and we had a lovely discussion talking about justice and mercy. We discussed how justice demands that if a law is broken, there must be a penalty. However, someone could intervene and satisfy the law of justice, and thus show mercy to the individual. He seemed to hang on every word, and I was so impressed with his comprehension of this gospel principle.
Fast forward several hours......to bedtime. I had an opportunity to discipline Kaden for a poor choice that he made. He looked up at me with his big brown eyes before heading to time out and said, "Mercy please?"

What an amazing opportunity for you and Kevin. Kaden has gotten so big. I remember your baby shower when you were pregnant with him.
