My heart is so full as I sit down to write about the beautiful Thanksgiving Feast we had this year. One of the biggest blessings is that for the first time in several years, we were able to share this holiday with members of our extended family. My brother and his wife were able to join us, which made this year extra special.
I have so many blessings in my life. I am truly grateful for all that our loving Father in Heaven has blessed my sweet family with.

I think I enjoy setting the table more than cooking the meal. This year our setting was truly international. We dined on china that was purchased on the Porcelain Strasse' in Germany. Our linens came from the South of France-- St. Tropez area. I hand picked these with Thanksgiving in mind. It was so fun to use them for the first time!

Our table decorations included handmade place cards, as well as hand drawn leaves depicting the things we were thankful for this year. This was Kaden's contribution to our feast. We have an annual Thanksgiving tradition of taking turns around the dinner table expressing gratitude for the many blessings in our lives. This year, Lauren was grateful for "flowers". Kaden was thankful for "Chocco (his pet chameleon), the temple, the church, animals, the world, our house, trees, his friends, and that Uncle David and Aunt Kabree could come and spend Thanksgiving with us".
We actually have this on video and it is darling! If I can ever figure out how to post video on my blog, I will do so at a later date. If anyone has suggestions on how to do this, please pass them on.

Our feast consisted of: grilled turkey (Kevin's contribution), garlic mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, homemade crescent rolls (Kabree's specialty), fruit salad, lime spinach salad with toasted pine nuts, corn, and almond lime green beans. We feasted on chocolate pumpkin cheesecake pie and triple chocolate pie for desert. Fabulous!

My little brother David, and his cute wife Kabree. They currently live in Amarillo. We were especially thankful that we could spend Thanksgiving with them this year. We love you guys!
