How did I convince my family to go along with my costume theme? Just a little something that I like to call mind conditioning. Last winter I found three of our five costumes on clearance at Disney. All year long I have been planting subtle messages about our chosen costume venue and how much fun we would have dressing in "theme". I am so glad that everyone humored me and played along with no last minute costume changes.
My friend Angie was in charge of the Fall Festival at her church this year. She was sweet enough to invite us to join in the festivities and we had a blast!

That is darling. I love the themes... Griff and I usually dress up in some type of corresponding costume. i had to work this year, though. So next year maybe we'll include the little guy and go all out, too. :)
u guys look great! i could never get austin into a costume so my hope of one day having a themed family is already busted no matter how much i "mind train" him.
What an awesome idea!! My boys wouldn't do the theme-thing this year! You look incredibly beautiful (even in a nightgown). Yeah, I know what Kevin's thinking! :) But you know what I mean!!

that is fun to see a family dressed up in theme....my favorite year was when we did the Wizard of oz as a family theme....so cute!

I always start out with a plan for a family costume "theme", this year it was for us all be a character from the broadway musical Wicked-Garret didn't want to be a 15yr old tin man or lion. I can't say that I blame him. The girls agreed...It was fun but stressful! You guys all looked great!
