I haven't had bangs since the '90s but thought I would be a little wild today at the salon. I keep trying to work up my courage to chop it all off (much to Kevin's dismay, what is it about guys and long hair anyways?). I cycle every couple years between a short a-line bob and letting it grow back out long. I am due for a drastic change soon.
I also recently had my nails done. This is a luxury that I haven't had for years...actually, the last time I had pretty nails was for my wedding over 11 years ago. A friend gave me a gift certificate to a nail place and I decided it would be fun to try nails again. As much as I love having pretty nails, I wasn't prepared for the extra five mins. it would take to button buttons, the annoyance of not being able to use my nails as tools for my jewelry and bow design business, or the problem they would create in trying to take out my contacts. We'll see how long they last, but for now, I will definitely enjoy them!

You are always pretty but the bangs and nails just add to it. Ever since you got nails again I have been thinking about it too. The thing I don't like about having them is they really can't scratch that itch like real nails do.

Lol, yeah I cut my hair off into an a line bob a year ago and am in the "growing it back out" process now. I can't get used to not having long hair. It's like cutting off an arm :)

I love your hair. I got bangs for several months ago for the first time since the 90's also. I love them, but it is more maintance. I often cut them myself which is never a good idea.

I like your bangs too. I recently did the same thing too....I always looked better with bangs and decided who hairs if no bangs is the thing.....by the way, your hair looks like it has red tones in it! You look stunning, as usual!
HOw did I miss this post?! I LOVE the bangs. It is great to have a change every so often. And fun to have the nails, even if they aren't practical with young kids. Glad you got the fun of a transformation!
Rhett and I both think the hair looks great, guess what I am getting... fake hair, extentions. I haven't had great heair and anails since college, but I am getting ready to do it all also. You look amazing as always!
