Projects Anyone?

This....

or maybe this?

I am just itching for a new project. Let me rephrase that, a new creative project. I am currently organizing and developing a preschool curriculum with a few friends for a preschool co-op this fall. I am also helping to plan a family reunion for next summer, as well as a Super Saturday Activity for our women's organization at church in October. I am currently in the middle of trying to dejunk and organize our home and garage in anticipation of our move next summer. However, none of that counts if I can't remake or paint or design something with my hands. If I can't imagine the finished product in my mind's eye from start to finish and scheme about what to do with or where to put my newly finished treasure.

I have a friend that calls me a "Project Person" and I suppose this it is true, although I had never thought of myself that way before. I am truly my happiest when I am in the middle of two or three or twenty projects, have immediate deadlines on some big event that I am planning or hosting, or in complete chaos up to my armpits.

So perhaps this is it. A new message board to go over the antique German desk in my kitchen. What do you think? What are you working on right now?

I love the shutter idea. I am starting on a couple of Foam children's chairs for my boys for Christmas. I am currently trying to find cute fabric that I won't mind having in my living room. I lucked out with a camouflage/dinosaur print for one, now if I can just find something for the other one.

love, love love those ideas! DARN, those projects are so cute!

I didn't think I loved being so busy until I wasn't...and then I felt like I was going crazy having nothing. :)

Can't wait to see what you create!
