Sometimes I forget. I get so engulfed in projects and deadlines that I forget what is really important-- the people in my life. Last night was wonderful! Even though I could think of a million things that needed to cleaned or organized or wrapped I stopped. I just stopped. Instead, I enjoyed the evening snuggling with my handsome husband and watching one of our all time favorite Christmas movies.
And today? Today Lauren, Ava, and I have played all day long. I will get to the wrapping, the organizing, the writing, the mailing, the baking, and the parties......another day.

Oh man, that was David and I last night to a "T", haha! I wasn't home most of the week cuz I was @ Lynsey's sewing, getting projects finished, cooking, etc. So Dave and I went out last night and it was wonderful! It's nice to stop and smell the roses sometimes. Love and miss ya
I love those days! Of course mine won't come until after Christmas, the flower shop is getting busy!
That is great! I don't think I have ever watched that movie begining to end! I guess if it is your favorite.......I might have to get it and check it out!

Too cute! I love just playing with the kids all day! Oops... I think I do that too much and then my house ends up messy a lot! :) Give those kids hugs from Aunt Amy!
Elf is one of our favorites too! Nothing like just spending time together and playing! That is why the holidays are so fun!
What a great reminder Marnie! I needed that, I am feeling quite frazzeled lately. My favorite movie is the Christmas Story. I need to get it out.
Yea Marnie! I'm so glad you were able to take a break from holiday craziness. But seeing the amazing gift you gave us last night, I can't imagine how you did it. Your skills amaze me!
Good for you!! That is really hard to do this time of year! I am impressed--you are a fabulous Mom and wife. We love that movie too!! We quote it all year--especially when my boys put too much syrup on their pancakes--we tease them about thinking they are an elf!! Merry Christmas!!
Good for you! That movie Elf is so funny! My hubby hates it though - I can't understand since he loves retarded comedies usually! haha! I'll just have to watch it every year with my sisters!
