Lauren and I had a pretty important conversation today. It went something like this:
Lauren: Mom, what would happen if you didn't have any legs?
Mom: You wouldn't be able to walk.
Lauren: What would happen if you didn't have any eyes?
Mom: You wouldn't be able to see.
Lauren: Yes, that's right. What would happen if you didn't have hands?
Mom: You wouldn't be able to touch.
Lauren: What would happen if you didn't have a bottom?
Mom: You wouldn't be able to sit down.
Lauren: Uh-huh. And what if you didn't have any teeth?
Mom: You wouldn't be able to chew your food.
Lauren: Yes, that's right. And what if you didn't have any hair?
Mom: Your head would be cold.
Lauren: Mommy, did you know that there are lots of mans with cold heads because they have no hair on their head?
